Just putting on a few pictures from the last 6 months. The girls are getting pretty big, and take up lots more time. As if I thought that were possible a year ago...

Ok, so I made Chicken Cacciatore last night for dinner. And for the record I made sweet potato's for Thanksgiving last week. In my hast, I forgot to take pictures. Rest assured they were wonderful. I got the chicken recipe from the Pioneer Woman website. Big surprise, right? I'm on her website more then any other. But she's good. Real good. Here is my stuff in the oven!
This is what it looks like after you take it out.
This is what your hand looks like when you grab the handle to move the pan around on the stove.
I cannot explain to you how good this was. I have never fried chicken at home. It was surprisingly easier then I had thought. I used chicken thighs for this, and it was perfect. Looks good for doing everything one handed, yes?
Here's a close up for ya. See all the yummy peppers? I can't believe I just said that.
Here are a few from breakfast this morning. Elli, her usual smiling self.
If Misha holds really still Chloe won't notice her. It works sometimes. It's all over when it doesn't.

So I feel like this week has been horribly busy. I've just been running everywhere. After Monday I won't be working at the hospital unless they need me, so I'll have a little more time for the girls and everything else. I really wonder how some of these bloggers do it. I wonder if they are really that accomplished or if they just throw a few things in there to make themselves look good. Probably not, since they take pictures to show you how they do stuff. :(
These are a few of the pictures I took last night from eating at my moms house. I'm still getting used to this camera and I know I'm not bringing out it's full potential. I need to start taking some classes. I have been looking up tutorials online, but I think there are some things I would learn better in a classroom setting. What would really help is if I didn't need to sleep. That would be perfect.
There is still one thing I think I've not fully grasped a hold of. Now that I have children and all. I have the hardest time wrapping my head around the amount of laundry I have to do. I finished my last load yesterday and the hamper was already half full. Sigh. . .
1. Loved ones to do laundry for.
2. A house to do laundry in.
3. Moms stuffing.

So Pioneer Woman does these "Edit This" competitions. She gives you a picture and picks the best photoshopped version of it, and gives them a prize. A really nice prize. I think the last winner got $350 to B&H Photo or something. I don't know nearly enough about PS to even hope to win one. But it's kind of fun to see what everyone does. She puts up her favorites, and I would die if she ever put me up on that. This is what I did really quick. You can see the original HERE. I've been really busy with Thanksgiving today, and I haven't had a lot of time to do anything else. I've been playing with my new lense but haven't uploaded any pics to the computer yet. But I really love it. Now I just have to find a class that will teach me everything there is to know about PS. I'll have some new pics up tomorrow. I'm braving the first Black Friday tomorrow. I've always had to work, so I've never gone. But I'll be going with Emily at two in the morning. I've got to go get all my warm clothes ready. Happy Thanksgiving!

I am a terrible cook. I guess I should say that I'm horrible at planning out what to cook. I can follow a recipe and have it turn out ok. But I really have been trying the last few months to be a lot better about eating at home. We used to ALWAYS eat out. And when we were at home we would just do really easy stuff like Mac n' Cheese. Well, my neighbor made me these bran muffins whe I had the girls, and I liked them a lot. I actually LOVED them. So I asked her for the recipe. I finally got around to making them today. They are in the oven right now. I'm seriously counting down the minutes that they have left. But it is a goal of mine to do better at making meals for us. I'm usually pretty good about breakfast, but by the time dinner rolls around I'm so wrapped up with the girls that I don't think about eating. Poor Tyler is left to fend for himself a lot of the time, while I usually don't even eat. I know this is a far cry from a good house wife, but I'm going to try a new recipe once a week to try and get myself cooking better. Now, of course I'll be cooking other things, but I be doing the "usual" easy stuff. Muffins are done! And they taste wonderful! Success!
